ANAK
Anak' (Filipino for child or more accurately my son or my daughter) is a Tagalog song written by Filipino folk-singer Freddie Aguilar. It was a finalist for the inaugural 1977 Metropop Song Festival held in Manila. It has been translated to over a hundred local and international languages.[1] In 2000, a movie of the same name was created. Its plot was inspired by the lyrics of the song.[2]
KUNUSTA KA
Kumusta Ka , the 2000 release by Teresa Morales, is dominated by middle of the road music, but also showcases substantive balladry and some upbeat numbers, including a spirited rock song. Significantly, the album's MOR songs have more substance than usually heard in the Philippines. The opening title track is a remake of a popular acoustic ballad first recorded in the 1970s by seminal Philippine singer/songwriter Freddie Aguilar, which was an international hit
